David Rademacher, MA, LPA (Licensed Psychological Associate), LCMHC (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor), has been in practice for over thirty years. He received his undergraduate degree at Bowdoin College and a Masters in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
David’s approach to therapy is rooted in psycho-dynamic psychotherapy, cognitive psychology, and Buddhist studies. With a background in cultural anthropology and philosophy, David seeks to understand how an individual’s personal history, social context, and spiritual orientation interact. He is a practicing Buddhist who enjoys working with individuals of all faiths.
David has special expertise in trauma and abuse recovery, as well as training in hypnosis, solution-focused therapy, family therapy, and addictions counseling. He also provides a range of psychological testing and evaluation services.
David brings a strong commitment to psychodynamic process and mindfulness work. He sees his work as a client-therapist collaboration that supports the natural growth and healing of individuals seeking change.
